Visitor Information
Greenore Golf Club is situated 70kms. Equidistant between Dublin & Belfast main airports, and just a 3 minute drive from the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford. Visitors can be assured of a very warm welcome at Greenore. The Club caters for the demands of all visitors both on and off the course. Greenore enjoys breathtaking views of the Mourne & Cooley Mountains. A summer sunset over Slieve Foy and the shimmering waters of Carlingford Lough are a joy to behold. Visitors return time and time again enjoying our excellent course, beautiful views and fine food. Greenore is known far and wide as the "Friendly Club". It was aptly described by one visitor as a
"Gem on the shores of Carlingford Lough".

Clubhouse Dress Code
The following items of Dress are unacceptable:
- Singlets/vest type tops
- sleeveless or collarless shirts
- sports shorts / football jerseys/shorts
(tailored shorts may be worn)
- track/shell suits
- hats ie golf/baseball hats
- footwear worn on the course must not be worn in the clubhouse
- hold-alls must not be left unattended in the lobby
These regulations apply to members, visitors/societies etc., equally and must be adhered to at all times.
Course Dress Code
The following items of Dress are not permitted on the Course
- no tracksuits or shell suits
- no football shirts / shorts
- no jeans
- no runners
(proper golf shoes only)
- trouser legs must not be tucked into socks
(except during winter rules)
- no sleeveless or collarless shirts
- singlets / vest type tops
- no sports shorts – tailored shorts only
Members and visitors/societies are asked to adhere to these rules. failure to do so will result in individuals being asked to leave the course.

Practice Area
We have a large practice area which includes a driving range, practice area and a putting green
Buggy / Club Hire
Buggies are available to hire for €30 per day
Showers
Showers are available in the clubrooms, towels are available. |
