18/01/2022 - In addition to current Winter Rules, from tomorrow morning the Green’s Committee are resting the fairways.
Until further notice, balls resting on the fairway will have to be lifted and played from the rough on either side equal distance from the hole.
Closer to the greens, chipping on from the fairways is permitted, but only if you are inside the area that is marked by a pole on each side.
BUGGIES: Buggies are to be driven with GREAT CARE to avoid soft wet spots and areas that are already muddy, also staying 30 yards away from greens.
08/01/2022 - First Green Update; Progress has been steady, but as always a few challenges have cost us a little time against the plan. We lost some working hours from our greens staff to Covid and close contact rules – but thankfully all are safe and well. We also lost some time in that storm a few weeks back when the new green had to be re-sanded (most of the sand had blown away). All in all, we are 3-4 weeks behind schedule. In conversation with Oisin, we understand that he is hopeful to have us back to our full 18 holes by Easter Weekend – mid April, but again, we are at the mercy of the elements, Covid, or any other unforeseen circumstance.
Not having a full course bring us challenges entering the golf season around slope rating, qualifying competitions and the commencement of interclub competitions. Rest assured that all these matters are being looked into by respective committees and we will do our best to have members back out on a full course as soon as possible. - Captains Brendan & Rita
20/12/2021 - Restaurant opening dates for the Christmas & New Year period. We will be closed from Wednesday 22nd to Sunday 26th & Re-open on Monday 27th to Friday 31st, we will be closed for one day only on the 1st January & normal hours will then resume. On behalf of Doreen, Susan & staff, we hope you all have a lovely, peaceful and safe Christmas and a happy new golfing year!

Men's Sunday Competitions and Ladies Saturday Competitions will be held over 12 holes, starting on the 13th and finishing on hole 14a, with members having the option of continuing on to play holes 15, 16, 17 and 18 if they so choose, outside of competition.
