Welcome to
Greenore Golf Club
Greenore Golf Club, situated at the tip of the Cooley peninsula, prides itself on its setting on the coast of Carlingford Lough with spectacular picturesque surroundings. We are located 100km/60 miles equidistant between Dublin and Belfast main international airports. The course is just a five minute drive from the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford which offers an abundance of good restaurants and accommodation including the 4 Star Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Centre.
Greenore is a magnificent course set along Carlingford Lough under the coastline embankment of the old railway line with the back drop of both Slieve Foy & the Mourne Mountains. The course has a good mix of traditional links and heathland terrain. The fairways are surrounded by golden gorse on one side and the water of Carlingford Lough on the other, so beautiful to look at but so punishing for any who may stray from the prescribed path. The Greens are fast and many are small in size rejecting any shot lacking conviction. This is a true test of any player’s command of the traditional bump and run in the hard fast summer months or a high soft pin seeker in the winter. For our best rate on green fees book online. |

Testimonials
"A wee gem of a golf course, was meant to play a different course which we had played before, until someone told us about this course. Not one person from our party of 4 had ever heard of the place never mind the golf course. We will be back without doubt"
