Robert Giles. Advanced PGA Golf Professional.
Robert has been the PGA Professional at Greenore since 2003, and has been awarded the status of ‘Advanced PGA Professional’ in 2016. Robert has an excellent reputation for his golf achievements, his coaching knowledge and abilities. A prolific winner of over 75 PGA tournaments, and having played in over 30 European Tour and Challenge Tour events. Career highlights include playing in all four rounds in the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in 1998, representing GB & Ireland in the PGA Cup versus USA in 2011, and part of a winning Ireland team twice winning the PGA International Team Championship. |
Golf Lessons
We have two teaching professionals located in Greenore Golf Club who cater for all our member golfers and visitors alike. Robert has over 30 years experience of coaching, and his simple approach make it ideal for all golfers from absolute beginners to the elite golfer.
Keith Shannon is part of our coaching team. Keith was a juvenile member at Greenore and turned professional in 2015. Keith has gained an excellent reputation for the coaching of Juvenile golfers taking up the game. We can tailor lessons for each individual, offering the latest technology with our Flightscope Launch monitor and the use of video analysis to greater enhance the learning experience.

We offer a club fitting service for drivers, woods, hybrids and Irons. We have an extensive range of demo clubs with an iron fitting system available.
Our Flightscope Launch monitor will give us all the data we need to ensure you are fitted with the best equipment for your game. We offer this service free of charge if it leads to a purchase of the clubs you were fitted for.
Our goal is to send you out on the course with the clubs that are best suited to YOU, as you are our best advertisement for our services.
